Washington Adventist University
The Who
It was central to Washington Adventist University’s ministry to remind the students, faculty and visitors to their campus about the importance of faith in every facet of their lives.
The Challenge
The new President made it his mission to raise the standards of every department and function of the school, including communications. His instruction to Kinetics was that he wanted to have people see and feel the excitement that faith had on one’s lives. As such, we created and executed the “The Spirit Is Growing” campaign to the school’s communication and branding efforts.
How We Delivered
We created this campaign using posters and fliers with spiritually uplifting messages to be placed around heavily trafficked areas of campus. A running theme was selected because of its versatile metaphor and how it could be tied to several spiritual passages.
The Results
Due to the success of “The Spirit is Growing” campaign, Washington Adventist University called upon KineticsMarCom’s expertise for other projects. The first, was design and development of communication pieces to share information about the school’s new music center at the Takoma Park campus. Our efforts reached not only the school’s students and faculty, but to alumni and the surrounding community. Secondly, KineticsMarCom was also charged with developing materials for their fund-raising initiatives.
